Dr. Stephanie Vondrak
Professional
In 1998, Dr. Stephanie Vondrak completed her Bachelors degree at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Upon graduation, she was accepted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, earning her doctorate degree in the spring of 2002. Dr. Vondrak believes education is paramount to comprehensive patient care and has pursued numerous hours in post-doctorate education including the Pankey Institute and the Schuster Center. Both programs have been instrumental in shaping her health-centered dental philosophy. Dr. Vondrak has traveled to numerous courses bettering her skills for Temporomandibular Joint Therapy, Cosmetic/Rehabilitative Dentistry and Implant Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Stephanie Vondrak is a Premier Provider for Invisalign orthodontics.
As of this spring, Dr. Stephanie Vondrak partnered with the local "HER" magazine as the author of a bimonthly column on the benefits of health-centered medicine. Her articles feature topics that emphasize good dental health, excellent systemic health and the benefits of individualized dental/medical care.
Personal
When taking a break from dentistry, Dr. Stephanie Vondrak spends time with her husband, Nick, and children Harry and Lizzy. Family outings include: the golf range, hide and seek at the park, swimming and long walks. At the moment, Harry is focused on perfecting his golf game with dad while Lizzy wants nothing more than to be pushed in her swing.
Dr. Vondrak also enjoys reading, running, and Pilates. She participates in a local book club and meets weekly for Pilates training. As for running/walking, her workouts often include her jogging stroller and at least one child in tow. However, pre-kids, Dr. Vondrak and her husband had the incredible opportunity to train and complete the 2002 Marine Corps Marathon in Washington D.C.
Volunteer
On the volunteer side, Dr. Stephanie Vondrak is committed to organizations focused on helping others. Dr. Vondrak is a member of the Omaha Children's Museum's Guild Board, a chairperson for the Child Saving Institute, and past Junior League Member. She volunteers with her children's schools and speaks to various groups on health-centered dental care.
Karen Jordan
Office Manager and Certified Dental Assistant
Karen's mission of helping others through quality dental care is as focused and genuine as when she began in the field almost 30 years ago. As our office manager, Karen Jordan strives to help patients with all aspects of their dental treatment including: scheduling appointments, answering insurance questions, conducting consults on treatment options, and assisting Dr. Vondrak during dental procedures. If you have a question or concern regarding dentistry, Karen is a great resource of knowledge.
On a personal note, Karen enjoys cooking, murder mysteries, and rock-n-roll. She loves to spend time with her husband, Kent, and daughter, Kelsey. On the weekends, you can find her both at the stables caring for Kelsey's horse, Jake, and volunteering for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Laura Holt
Registered Dental Hygienist
As the daughter of a dental hygienist, Laura Holt understands the correlation of excellent dental hygiene and overall systemic health. Wanting to purse this passion, Laura attended Creighton University School of Dentistry, completing her Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Laura enjoys the opportunity to work with patients helping them understand their individual hygiene needs and meet personal dental goals. Additionally, Laura Holt is an adjunct clinical instructor at Creighton University School of Dentistry teaching clinical hygiene skills to future dental hygienists.
Outside of the classroom, Laura enjoys shopping, running, and participating in dance at a local dance studio. Laura is also a pet-lover often found caring for her darling puppy, Darla.
Kaitlyn Williamson
Front Office Coordinator
Kaitlyn is the newest addition to our staff. She is caring, dependable, and loves the excitement of each new day! She has extensive experience in Customer Service & Administrative skills, both in the medical and cosmetology world. Kate is married to her High School Sweet Heart of 11 years and adores her two "purrfect" cats! She enjoys yoga, antiquing, and doing Bridal Makeup on the weekends. She also loves spending quality time with her family! Kaitlyn is excited to be a member of our team, and looks forward to her future with us, getting to know our patients and providing them with exceptional care!
